William H. Haithco Recreation Area is a beautiful park with a 40 acre man-made lake. The park offers a lifeguard supervised beach (from 11:00 am-7:30 pm every day beginning the Friday before Memorial Day until Labor Day), sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, paddleboat, rowboat, canoe, kayak and paddleboard rentals, playground, fishing access, grills, light concessions, the Ruth Averill Splash Pad, and modern restrooms.Sorry, dogs are not permitted at Haithco.
There are five pavilions available for rent, two on the north end and three on the south end of the park. The park is conveniently located off I-675 at the Tittabawassee Road exit.
In season park hours are from 8 AM to 9 PM from Labor Day to Memorial Day. Off season hours are from 9 AM to Dusk.
